Orion 09007 SpaceProbe 130ST Review

This is a telescope for the beginner taking their new hobby seriously. It’s not very expensive, but it’s not cheaply made either. I like that you can use it with both an equatorial mount and a tripod. The optics are clear and sharp, which is more than I can say for most telescopes in this price range.

The Orion 09007 SpaceProbe 130ST Telescope is an excellent choice for beginners who want to get started with astronomy without spending too much money on their first telescope.

The Orion 09007 SpaceProbe 130ST boasts many high-end features usually found on more expensive models, including a 5″ primary mirror, 70mm secondary mirror, and adjustable altitude tension. The telescope can locate objects as faint as magnitude 13.5—about the same sensitivity you’d expect from a much larger telescope!
